Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. She was born and raised in California USA she started her modelling professional career in Italy. Her acting career began in the year 1996, when she appeared in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It took some time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller character. This was not easy for Amy as she had to move from modelling into acting. Models aren't thought of as great actors so they tend to play smaller, less important roles. Amy had a determination to be successful and eventually she was offered bigger roles beginning at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. Amy was then promoted to lead parts in 2005's romance film Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy found her recognition after more than 10 years of struggling. Amy worked on some of the biggest film productions, such as the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless, where she played an enduring character.
