Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. In 1996, she made her debut as an actress in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get a small role on Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was hard for Amy switching from modeling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't good actors. And they are usually given insignificant and small parts. But somehow Amy was determined to keep going and transitioned to larger roles, beginning with the TV series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. After a few years Amy made the jump into bigger roles. She starred in the 2005 romance film Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. It was a huge commercial success, and Amy has finally achieved the success she'd been striving for for over 10 years. Amy was later a star in major movies including the Crank Series with Jason Statham, and Shameless.
